what's the user name and password for sql+
username SCOTT

password TIGER
If you need to know the username/password you really need to get a good book on Oracle or fetch the manuals, which like the software, are free from Oracle Corp OTN website. Read the Concepts manual, cover to cover, then you will appreciate what Oracle really is. Oracle isn't a tinpot little RDBMS like Access or MySQL, it's a true enterprise, multi-petabyte RDBMS which can take months to learn properly.
Is this oracle 9i enterprise edition?
does it work on windows xp?
i get an error ora-01017 whenever i try to install a database using database configuration assistant
this version probably works only on windows 32 bit platforms
downloaded, mounted n installed (after it gave me lotsa errors about some 'jrew' file). now, i cant access sql without a username, password n host string, all of which i thought i'd be able to create. i tried the ones provided here but no luck.

is it working for anybody? i'm using windows 7 32bit, btw. thanks to the uploader.
@irisrune use xp mode update for win 7 and insatll this oracle 9i withing xpmode
